Response to COVID-19 epidemic situation, the filing period and deadline for payment of tax of 2021 alien individual income tax will be extended to June 30th, 2022.

The National Taxation Bureau of Kaohsiung, Ministry of Finance stated that if foreign taxpayers file their income tax return via e-Filing system, the deadline of any document required for filing such as household registration certificate, certificate of overseas income earned or proxy statement...etc. will be extended to July 11th, 2022. Taxpayers shall submit it in person or send it by post to the tax authority with jurisdiction over the location of the address given on their Alien Resident Certificate.
